back in US court for allegedly chucking her (unspecified, dambit) cellphone at her housekeeper. Now this isn't the
first time she's been accused of such nastiness, mind you. One year ago to the day, in a case which is apparently still
pending, Ms. Campbell was accused of smacking her PA
around with a Blackberry in LA even after pleading guilty to bashing another assistant with a telephone in Toronto
back in 2001. Tsk tsk. Naomi claims that the housekeepers' 4-staple wound on the back of her head was self-inflicted
(right honey, we've heard that
before) in retaliation for being fired earlier in the morning for suspected theft. The maid, on the other hand,
claims the super-duper-model was in a tail-spin over not being able to find her favorite jeans to wear on Oprah.
Whatever the truth is, it's hard to feel any sympathy for a woman who argues that her $3,500 bail was an
"insult" due to her extraordinary wealth. Anyone taking bets on how long it will take before the purported weapon finds its way to eBay?
This is why miniaturization is so important. By the time I'm the only one left who'll accept employment with her, she'll be hitting me with a 0.01g Bluetooth headset.
She's the one who is "punch-worthy".

Besides, she's on the modelling B-List, so who gives a damn (not that an A-List model is any better)... and since it was a BlackBerry and those things are fairly indestructible, that'd more than cover why the assistant needed 4 staples.
Oh, come on people. Do you not read Engadget because the posts are a little entertaining, too? They put a decent amount of humor on one post about entertainment and you guys are all whining about how they have completely lost it. I read the headline before I read the story. If I have no interest in it, I don't read the story. It is simple.

Oh come on guys: ofcourse this is a relevant tech post, you just have to give the background some thought. The question here is: what's the most appropriate gadget to beat someone with. Naomi's already tested the blackberry and now apparently the Razr. My money's on the Nokia 8800 for the next beating: the stainless steel's gotta hurt!
Some of you guys need to switch to a decaffinated brand and lighten up. There are plenty on the market today,,,Glad to see entertaining cell phone related news. I am just a little curious to find out what kind of phone she chucked. Four staples in the head sounds like the cell phone had some heft. Technically minded Engadget readers need the whole picture,,,I mean did the antenna get her,,,How far was the throw,,,Is Campbell more of a power thrower like Walter "Big Train" Johnson or is she known for her accuracy like Greg Maddux? Enquiring Engadget minds want to know.

I think Naomi has a pretty good sense of humor about her reputation for ummm needing anger management. It wouldn't surprise me to see her do an SNL bit where tests gadgets by throwing them or gives them a durability rating. They could even have a heavily bandaged aide bringing gadgets in for her to test.
