We can hardly blame Motorola for milking
their incredibly successful
RAZR line for all it's worth, and
that sure seems to be their plan at CTIA. Today Moto is busting out a brand new musicphone RAZR titled the V3m, which
sounds to be merely a
V3i plus stereo
Bluetooth, with a microSD slot for up to 1GB of storage, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. We're not sure if the phone
features iTunes playback or not, but we can't say we'd miss it anyways. The CDMA phone is accompanied by another in the
W315, which sounds to be a no-frills clamshell, though we're low on deets and without a pic. Motorola is also bringing
out some new spring colors for the RAZR V3i (pictured), including dark blue, maroon and violet. We'll have hands-on
shots of these before long, so just sit tight.

Am I the only one that was over this phone before it was even released? It may be thin but it's butt ugly, has no real resounding features, clumsy UI and a whole lot of hype. I just don't get it, and i'm so sick of hearing about this phones various reincarntions. "Wow! It's another color! I'd better by 7!" responds the general public.
Can someone fill me in? I'm stumped.

Dunno about everyone else, but those are three beautiful colors.

I don't know if it was their intention to put them on shelves before today, but I have already seen the Dark Blue Model at a Cingular booth at my local mall.
Maybe they accidentally shipped some early...oops!

Stereo Bluetooth! GREAT!
That's really a great improvement.
I WANT ONE!
I currently own a ROKR and I really like the iTunes interface... would be nice to have iTunes on this RAZR as well.
I wonder what will happen... will the Mac iPhone / Motorola iTunes phone win? Or will SonyEricsson win with their gorgeous Walkman phones? (equiped with those horrible memorysticks)

#1 I couldnt agree more (apart from the ugly part). just like to highlight once again just hoe much the UI sucks and the lack of features.
I do however understand why it is a popular phone; people who care less about features, and more about fashion. As a fashion phone its great, but apart from that, it sucks.

hey all, it will be in contract for about the same as when the RAZR V3 came out. plus theres one color out right now (if you buy it unlocked).....and yes that means there out but not out here. i have a Silver Quartz Motorola Razr V3i WITH iTunes and it works great. find them on ebay, where i got mine....only for SIM people though.

anyone have preview pics of the gps navigation system like it says here http://www.cellphonestalk.com/cellphonereviews/motorola/v3m/intro.html
GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and location based services built in. With these services, the V3M will inform you of any nearby gas stations, restaurants, tourist spots, etc in proportion to your current location.
