"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
The second worst phone I have ever owned - the worst was an LG that dropped every other call. I had a Treo 650. It was OK - well, at least things work they way they are supposed to.
All kinds of funny things happen: email messages become undeletable, the email goes into some funny mode where it tries to guess your next letter and it then takes you 5 times as long to type an email address. And this weekend the best yet was error message: 348.
No way to get the software to recognize the phone. Tried every conceivable combination with the Blackberry girl - battery in/battery out, USB in, USB out, enter command 2 times fast, etc.
What a joke. The people at Verizon all are trained to say, "They apologize." I'd like someone to throw a pie made of manure at their CEO. I pay Verizon over $1300 a year for this customer disservice. Wonderful. Take your network and shove it where the moon don't shine.
