It really doesn't suprise me. Just look at all the fake stuff that engadget shows on their site that is made in asia. In fact I remember seeing lots of stuff like that in the Philippines... Calbin Klein, Sany, Sonyo, and the list goes on. Trademarks and copyrights mean nothing in those countries.
