Nintendo DS Lite US launch - June 11 for $129.99
As expected, Nintendo has announced the US launch date and pricing for the DS Lite. The handheld gaming system will arrive on US shores on June 11 for about $129.99, and will come in an "inaugural color" of white. Since we've already seen the Lite in other colors, we assume those and more will make their way to the US soon enough, and the Wii factory is just teasing us by making us wait. Everything else you already know about the Lite remains unchanged, including the fact that, if you really can't wait a whole month to get it, your favorite gray market dealers can still get it for you sooner for about $200 plus shipping.

Um, with the proper equipment, such as a GBA Flash ROM Cartridge (http://www.gameboy-advance-roms.com/gba_flash_card.htm), you can import older Nintendo titles from your PC via GBA Linker. Yes, it costs roughly $60, but it's still less than buying a PSP. Not only that, but you can download home-brewed games and apps from http://www.ndshb.com/ for free, and some do utlize the touch screen. Trust me, if you take the time to look around, you can definitely see the potential in this device.
i have a old ds and it wore out way to fast(7 months) because i played it 24/7 the first month or so like i do with every new system i get.roughly how long is the ds lite supposd to last?
I just hope the DS Lite does kill off the PSP. The PSP is like a cat litter box: IT STINKS!
It's kind of weird for me to say something like that, because I'm totally down with PlayStations you can hook up to a TV monitor. The PSOne, PS2 and the PS3 are like the best video game systems Sony will ever release, unless they release a PS4 in the future.
As for you M$, stop copying off of people, for pete's sake. It's bad enough that you started copying off of people in '85. Do your attempts at copying Apple Computers ring a bell?
