Samsung's single-chip 7-inch LCD
Samsung recently
announced the industries first, single-chip, 7-inch a-Si TFT-LCD. The new design which brings a 400:1 contrast ratio
and 854 x 480 pixel resolution is destined to replace displays in mobile products like, oh say the 7-incher in Sammy's Q1 and the rest of the UMPC lot, allowing said devices to be thinner while reducing their
overall complexity. And yeah, that display she's offering-up is 'Shopped so don't get your knickers in a twist over it.

That girl looks like a man.

Well I'm glad we cleared up the confusion on that issue.
Back to the point... I wonder when they'll have a touch screen version so us UMPC users will actually benefit from it.

I can you have our share of asian trannys I suppose
Anyways,
Everytime there is pic of asian womam, there is always an asianphile response
anon @ May 4th 2006 2:01PM
Why is that whenever there is an asianphile response someone points out the asianphile response? Seriously, I only ever see the made up word "asianphile" here on Engadget.

Does anyone actually watch movies on a 7 inch screen? Stanley Kubrick would be insulted to have 2001:A Space Odyssey viewed on a screen the size of a crackerjack box.

"That girl looks like a man."
Good song...even if you got the title wrong. Bad comment. If you think she looks like a man I would suggest you get your eyes examined or work on your gender discrimination abilities because dude. that AIN'T no guy. Well I suppose it could be but that would be all kinds of wrong.

Click through and look at the larger picture.
Is that image on the LCD real? Looks like a bad photoshop job.
plus the connector is just dangling there.

Guys, anything that has phile or philic means it "likes" it. So, IF asianphile exists, it means that person actually likes asians.
So, I am guessing you meant asianphobe or the adj. asianphobic.

"Does anyone actually watch movies on a 7 inch screen? Stanley Kubrick would be insulted to have 2001:A Space Odyssey viewed on a screen the size of a crackerjack box."
Alternatively Stanley Kubrick should be happy that anyone is even watching his crap. I've heard his movies go well with high doses of narcotics. Ive seen thousands of movies. I can tell trash from substance. Kubricks stuff is the case of trash trying to come off as substance but still has a certain perfume to it that smells like rotten milk.
Seriously though what is it with people who have this stick up their ars about the size of a screen? A screen in the 7" range is easily large enough to watch a movie on. Heck I have my iPaq 4700 and its 4" screen is perfectly fine for watching a movie on.

If you insist, Joanna Smith.

Joe Smith is a dumbass. Her face has none of the qualities of a man's face. Look at her chin for crying out loud. How many men have chins like that?
I think she's quite cute. Oh yeah, what's that she's holding now?
Joe Smith @ May 4th 2006 8:07PM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I'm laughing my ass off from you commenters. For god's sake, I was joking! HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
AutoDas @ May 4th 2006 8:11PM
Todd Samsung doesn't revolve around Apple ya know. They also have their own interests like the UMPC and besides, this screen is way too big for something like that and it's not even a touch screen so I don't know what kind of answer you were hoping for.
zzzzzzzzzz if you ead the article it said it was a Photoshop job.
