Regarding not counting the Pepper Pad Plus, there are indeed three Pepper Pads. The Pepper Pad 1 was a reference design prototype that was just that - a proof-of-concept prototype. It never made it to market although it was shown at various trade shows. The Pepper Pad 2, simply branded as the Pepper Pad, is what consumers currently have in their hands. And the Pepper Pad 3 is the next incarnation that was just announced.
