Anybody out there can u please inform me if this S200 has the same 540 lines of resolution and 3 megapixels that I saw on panasonic's site S100 or if the video resolution on this one has also been bumped up or is it still the same, I'm still considering the Sanyo VPC HD1 for compactness, and 5mp with 720p not quite full High Def but @ least it's close I know that the S100 has 3CCD's @ 1/6 so it's still up in the air even though it might just be about $200 more than the VPC HD1 I would prefer better video I think with @ least 4mp and similar compactness as with Pana's S200 & San. VPC HD1.
Yes Sir the fight here is also betwixt the Sanyo and this Pamasonic sdr 150 0r 200...sanyo is HD (almosst) but its said the pic is bad at low light and mpeg 4 thows up artifacts in moving video takes like F1 racing etc but it has an HDMI connection ( canon hv10 is a mini DV cam and has no HDMI connection what a pity) and also the sanyo is a lot lighter and hip to carry in its standard hip holster accessory (I just lost a JVC handycam) flick of an eye lid and someobe nicked it ..cos u cant stick it to your body so Im not getting any replacement that i cannot wear like a pen or a handphone with a strap tied to my belt !!heaven knows how many people have lost their prtecious handycams !! this panasonic 3ccd is not hd but its said the takes ARE MUCH better but u need to connect with av cable to avoid the shaky movie lot better in low light in the hand its clumsier than the sanyo and theres no standard hip holster ,,,,can u put it in your pocket its big u know !so let me know your thoughts ..i havent decided which
