Yet another Skype phone: Airwise's SkyAir
We don't know how many Skype phones are too many, but Airwise Technology definitely sees the need for another, showing off their SkyAir DT 190204 at the big Computex trade show that's been the source of so many gadgets we're never likely to see again. Like offerings from Panasonic and Olympia, the SkyAir will handle regular old landline calls in addition to VoIP, and features incoming caller display, phone book dialing, and SkypeOut dialing, a decently-sized 1.4-inch color display, along with all the usual features you'd expect from a cordless phone. No word on pricing or availability, unfortunately, but you know the drill about Asian gadgets, right?

Why does every released VOiP telephone has to be associated with eBay's Skype?! i preffer Vonage over Skype, just for the simple reason it's associated with fee/money-hungry eBay.

lol 'Perrey Z'... yeah right... because 'Vonage' is a charitable organization that gives there stuff away free! ..but wait, skype currently has a promotion going on where all outgoing calls to north america are absolutely free till the end of the year! so how much is vonage? 20$, 30$ ? a month? thought so. can't wait for some more of these to come out... just hope they run off of wifi.

Can you even get Vonage outside the USA?
Think global.

Yes, hitkaiser, the U.S.A. isn't the only country in the world... You can also get it in Canada, and maybe England too.

Nice but useless for me until SkypeIn numbers are available in Canada.

RJ;
What i meant is based on eBay taking over everything rent.com, paypal.com, mercadolibre.com and now Skype.
eBay as an auction web site charges legs and a few kidneys to place anything for auction., and when i say legs and kidneys i mean it! i've been there. I know Vonage does not give it's services for free, who does without wanting something in return? {try to read and understand next time.}
eBay and it's companies are well-known for it's poor customer service which it might not surprise me if Skype follow the same pattern of customer attention or lack of. Offering their services for free sound too good to be true. Remember nothing is actually "free" in this land of ours.
