USB teddy bear holds data, scares children
Generally, when someone makes a teddy bear-themed gadget, his/her intention is to overwhelm bystanders with cuteness. But whoever created this little guy, whose head has to be removed in order to access the internal USB drive, must have watched one too many Tim Burton movies. No word on how much it holds or if there are any plans to make these available for purchase, but with your own bear, a thumb drive, some thread and a closet full of skeletons, you can probably make your own without too much effort.

So cool. I want one of those bears.
Bonnie Granat @ Jun 19th 2006 1:06AM
Good for spies, I suppose. Or drugrunners. The cops aren't likely to take it
down to HQ for examination with the hard drive.
Oxy @ Jun 19th 2006 3:30AM
one for me..please))))
bleedrazorblades @ Jun 19th 2006 3:32AM
...no one is talking about Apple, and they aren't superior in design to this teddybear. Blah Blah Blah.
Its an fing teddybear that must have its head removed to insert the USB into the computer! How fantastic is that! Fool criminals from taking your precious flash drive! Wow your friends with your creativity! Make a friend to cuddle with at night who can assist you in more ways than one!
alex @ Jun 19th 2006 7:54AM

Para que sepa.. (So that you know), "Te Quiero" has a coouple of different meanings. Look at what Perrey Z posted. That is the most accurate.
I also like the Baboon comment. That would be a hoot!
Smartalix @ Jun 19th 2006 11:54AM

Jessie Moffety @ Jun 19th 2006 12:58PM
wouldn't the weight of the bears body mess up your usb drive?
JL @ Jun 19th 2006 1:36PM
even better.. instead of the ass lighting up when there's data transfer....
have the arms/legs flail around when there's data transfer...
spontaneous twitching.
yeah baby, I see one helluva xmas '06 stocking stuffer!
Travis @ Jun 19th 2006 2:33PM
This would look cool on a mac mini because the mac mini would become the head, I am going to make one, shouldn't be extremely difficult.
Julie @ Jun 19th 2006 3:30PM
OK - WHERE can we buy one? Does anyone actually have a link to a website for this? I have a sick colleague at work that would get a huge kick out of this!
Bricej @ Jun 19th 2006 6:15PM
Breaking news: english and spanish are two different languages and you can't always translate precisely across.
"Te quiero" means I Love You, but It is most equivalent to I Luv You.
"Te amo" means I Love You also, but in a deeper and more profound way.
De nalgas.
albino rhino @ Jun 19th 2006 7:48PM
i would be more than willing to buy one. My girlfriend starts college at the end of the summer, and I think this would be the perfect going away gift. Someone email me joe6america9@yahoo.com if they would be willing to make one or show me where to buy one.

Brian @ Jun 23rd 2006 11:53AM
You should motorize the arms and legs to make them twitch (move) every time a read or write occurs.
W. Kiernan @ Jun 23rd 2006 4:53PM
I wonder if I can manufacture a little bitty furry teddy bear with the USB plug sticking out of its crotch without violating their patent?

UncleBuck @ Jul 25th 2006 8:39PM
I really need to get one of these for the Security Guys at work! Or maybe HR either group would be in stiches! Then they would come looking for me!
Evan @ Jul 26th 2006 4:06PM
What about having a full external hard drive within a larger teddy and having his head (or eye or scalp...) removeable so you could attatch the usb cable?
Stephen @ Jul 29th 2006 7:43PM
Um, is it just me, or is that the wrong side of the USB cable for the shown use? That seems to be the device end. The cap side is the right size, but the, er, neck(?) side is wrong, isn't it?
ademonc @ Aug 1st 2006 2:24PM
i want one and then ill go use it at the library in the little kids section and decapitate a bear and shove him in the computer. i can already see the looks on their faces. lol
Sulphuric @ Aug 8th 2006 1:23PM
So, in order to get this, it has to be self-made?
