Engadget Spanish turns 1!
Wow, time really flies. Just a little over a year ago we had a bun in the oven called Engadget Spanish, and now it's all grown up and celebrating its first birthday. Next thing you know it's gonna be thiiis big and off to college, married, and with little Engadget spinoffs blogs of its own, and we'll just br here still blogging in English with our empty nest syndrome, hopefully collecting blogger social security. Oh, by the way, we hear they're giving something away -- but we won't spoil the surprise. Feliz cumpleaños Engadget Español!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Engadget Spanish; Happy Birthday to you!!!
Funny post, by the way.
Happry Birthday. Muchas felizidades, y que cumplas muchos mas.
Their birthday was on Tuesday and you're just now noticing? Bad parents...bad, bad, bad.
congratz, here's a spaniard who prefers this version that the one you cooked for us.
Aja! el tio de el gadgetoblog del elmundo.es el que corta y pega todos los articulos de endgadget , te tengo visto!

Felicitaciones Engadget Idioma de Cervantes Edition. =P
Happy Bday!
shouldn't you hanve said "uno"?
Too bad you did not chose people that are fluent AND educated in Spanish. The translations are horrible. You need reporters from a Spanish speaking country with a local degree to do your reports. Thanks.

HD: it is true translations were horrible when we first started the blog, but just as you point out (I guess you haven't been reading Engadget Spanish) the bloggers now are from Spanish speaking countries, and not only have degrees from local Universities, but also have experience in the field (journalism and technology). Jairo is from Venzuela, Alberto from Spain and I am from Ecuador.
I will also like to point out that we not only do translations from Engadget English, but also have our very own content. We share a lot with Engadget English, but are an independent blog nonetheless.
Jose: I am glad to hear this! I stopped reading it early on because of the outlined reasons. I will make sure to read it now! Thanks for the reply.
