$32? Yeeesh. That's pretty steep for a non-crosscut shredder that can only handle 2 sheets at a time. Staples/OfficeMax has real shredders on sale for less than $30, routinely.

DT, you're missing the point completely. IT'S USB, man! It's not about functionality, price, or even convenience; it's about having a USB SHREDDER.
It's like buying books; you don't get them to read them, you get them to have them.

Anyone wonder if they have a tiny scanner in there? Scanning the contents of the paper, right before shredding it, then sending the contents to some server somewhere. Hmm, makes you wonder. Makes me wonder, at least.

Paper shredders are useless. There are people who are masters of re-combining documents that are shredded.
i think a USB microwave...would be pretty pointless.
