When I first read this i worried about the safety of those at CINOCES then i realized it was just a misleading title.
There's a mistake in the report: Computex was held in Taiwan, not China.
did i see an aibo stall there?
i thought sony had dropped the aibo!?!
There are a lot of goods in there. Many laptops, Cellphones and Flat panel LCDs., very good assortment. Is a shame they don't import any of that to the U.S.
Taiwan is not a part of China, however, the PRC is trying to bring it back into control. Hence the missles that are aimed across the straight between mainland and Taiwan.
Many of the goods that would be at a show like that can be had to be re-labeled and exported, but there are quality control issues that tend to put a damper on it.
Here in Hong Kong, we can get some goods that have been manufactured to mainland specs, but they tend to be prone to defects and short lifetime that makes it worthwhile to go for export quality goods.
