HDTV Listings for August 10, 2006

What we're watching:

Football. Even preseason action is better than the endless line of re-runs or worse that we've been getting lately. The Colts take on the Rams tonight on Fox, meaning you can probably see one drive with the starters in, then enjoy the desperation of guys trying to make the team for three and a-half more quarters. Also tonight is MLB action between the New York Yankees and the (10 games back from the mighty Detroit Tigers) Chicago White Sox on ESPN and INHD. Last time we had a dual broadcast we received comments that ESPN's quality may be slipping, if you have a way of checking out both -- assuming a blackout on one channel -- it may be worth a look.
