iRiver N20: first pix of the tiny DAP
Looks like the cats over at iRiverFans scooped themselves some shots of iRiver's forthcoming N20. You know, the latest DAP to battle for the title of the world's smallest audio player with a screen. Here it is nuzzled up to its big bro, the 2.7 x 1.8 x 0.6-inch iRiver Clix for comparison. So yeah, it's small, that much we know but we'll have to sit tight for the rest of the details. But in a battle for eye-strain and impossibly small buttons, do we really care who wins? Damn straight we do.

Finally, an MP3 player I can not only lose down the side of an armchair but can actually swallow with relative ease.
Do they plan on offering different flavors for when you swallow the thing?
" THIS LOOKS LIKE GREAT FUN! "
I hate people like that.
The race to make everything outrageously small is getting to me. I own a Moto C117 candybar, an iPod mini and a MacBook Pro 15-inch. These are all easy to use, not paper-thin devices. I like a device with bulk and relative heft, hence why the nano ain't my cuppa' tea. This thing looks damn sexy, though...
If the RIAA gets their way - a swallow-able MP3 player will be handy to have.
This thing looks soooooooooo cool. I have a U10, and love it, but time for an upgrade! Please post availability ASAP so I can go buy it.
That's one nice looking thing. But I just bought the E10, and is perfectly fine with that one.
And one other thing, "iRiver" is now called "iriver", with a small "r". Remember that to the next time Engadget :D
Does it come with its own magnifying glass to read the screen? :-P
I know that at my age there is no way I can read that screen without some kind of assistance or external device. Its bad enough reading the screen on my Pocket PC phone. I have to literally hold the thing up to my nose to read the text.
Despite my physical shortcomings, I can't wait to buy an N20! :-)
That reminds me of the iPod invisa... "So small you can't even see it"
LOL
No way.. I JUST BOUGHT an iRiver Clix..
Ok, well from what I can figure these are the demensions....
(to the 16th of an inch)
body= 1 x 1&1/2 inches
screen= 3/4 x 7/8 inches
If anyone disagrees or knows differently, please let me know.
