Sony DSC-N2 leaked?
Hard to believe it's been almost a year since Sony announced their first touchscreen digital camera, the DSC-N1, but if Chinese forums are to be believed, the successor to the 8 megapixel camera, the DSC-N2 will this time come packing a 10.1 megapixel sensor, 1000 ISO sensitivity setting, and the usual 3x optical zoom that's all too common on most consumer shooters. Of course, we've no way of proving that what PConline's got their hands on is the genuine article, but is it really so impossible?

meh i am so confused by all the t series and n series camera releases that are pretty much all the same thing.
knowing a week after i buy a camera a newer version would be released and the stupid proprietary memory card are the dealbreakers...

Hi David, What do you mean by this statement -"stupid proprietary memory card are the dealbreakers..."
Do the N and T series use the old style memory stick?
Which camera do you feel is the best for the anti-blurr? The T series Super Steady Shot and/or the faster shutter speed of the N series? Thanks for helping me C

OMG! Another cool camera. I should have waited for this, just bought a new camera from Sony and now another amazing camera. :(

You Looser.

T series are the really thin ones, resembles credit cards and cost a lot.
P series is now defunct but their latest model P200 is still very good.
W series is their newest mainstream one, it replaces P and its main model is W100.
A series is the dlsr, a market in which they are very new.

I have the DSC-N1 and so far it's amazing. The touchscreen grabs all the attention. I got it when it first came out. Now this DSC-N2 is going to be my next camera :-)

To Paul: What is a Looser? :puzzled:
T33, T9, T30, T10...
You have to agree Sony's weekly product launches of a 3x optical 6-8mp cam is getting ridiculous.
Paul @ Aug 22nd 2006 9:41AM
David, I partly understand where you are coming from, but if you look at the price points the Sony is aiming to hit...you will understand why there is such a wide range.
Yes, for sure I dont understand what the idea behind the T33 and T5 was because it was nothing special from original T1.

Just had my N1 stolen over the weekend...maybe I'll wait for this, no, probably not
Shingo @ Aug 23rd 2006 12:10AM
I've got the N1, and its incredible, I love it. Having a PSP along with me and extra memory cards makes veiwing my images even nicer.
susan @ Aug 24th 2006 2:44AM
Very nice. A 10mgp camera.

I was just wondering which one people prefer, I am deciding on either the DSC-N2 or the DSC-T50 which are both very nice, but I am just having trouble deciding. Tell me what you think! :-)
