I wonder if they're aware that Epson had a range of printers called the Stylus range, which happened to have models called the Stylus 730, Stylus 740 (I used to own one of these) and the Stylus 750. Nice cameras though.

Just got an Olympus 810 a few days ago and it is a thing of beauty. Pictures are incredible for a small cam. If I had any of these as an option, though, I think I'd still go with the Stylus 810... It seems to be squarely in that niche I needed.

The 720 SW (and now 725 SW ) is great - I took mine kayaking and it survived a couple tip overs and also being draged along the river bottom.
I also just got the underwater case for the 720SW.. waterproof to 100ft
sweet!

Hey, are you sure about those prices? Seems a bit strange, same price for the 730 and the 1000 =/

i have owned an olympus stylus 500 for 6 months and just sent it in for it's second warranty-enabled defect repair. unless olympus concedes that the camera they sent me cannot be repaired and sends me a new one for my troubles (and their rediculous s&h requirements for repair services) i cannot offer them additional personal praise. love the camera, can't stand the customer service so far

Anyone know what the difference is between "CCD-shift image stabilization" and "optical image stablization" (like the one Panasonic brand sports)?
TIA

Stylus? Did I misread the definition of stylus?

The name Mju and the 'µ' symbol come from the greek word mikros which pretty much means small, Mju is how you say the Greek letter 'µ' this name has been used by Olympus since 1980 something from when there first film based weatherproof cameras came out.
