Venzero ONE media player spotted, snapped
The last time we saw a Venzero ONE, it was at a café in New York and was in severely pre-production condition; a little rickety, a little shaky, but still showed some real potential. Now, from here it's a little difficult to tell of these new shots of the ONE in the wild indicate that it's much closer to completion than it was a few months ago, but we hope they move fast and get this thing out because in a couple months the Zune and the MusicGremlin (and maybe even the wireless iPod) could make this device's big selling point, the Shareport USB file swapping system, a little shall we say, démodé.

I really like the look of this player, its just cool. The glowing green around and on the buttons makes it feel like a 3g ipod black with some cool changes. If i had a choice i would pick this over the zune any day.
Ew, that USB drive better be retractable.
drive = male connector.
Sorry not thinking today.
looks like the philips gogear 6330/17. except instead of blue "buttons" it has a green halo around the buttons. and the usb connector is a bit ugly.
that scroll pad in the middle looks like it's just itching for a lawsuit from creative
FINALLY, someone adds a male USB connector. I'm so sick of being unable to use my mp3 device as a USB drive (i dont really carry USB cables with me)!
I'm hoping it's retractable, but I'm glad it's there!
Retractable Male USB Connectors = WIN
I think that the male USB connector is retractable. Check out the image at http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4018/1237/1600/one_003.0.jpg
I agree with john... I wish more digital music players had built in male usb connectors. Its a real pain when your at your buddies and you want to share a music file but, OOPS, you don't have your cable...
The music player looks pretty sweet... Kinda like Creative's Zen V Plus... Venzero better be expecting a lawsuit from Creative with an player almost identical to the Zen V Plus.... I think its called trademark/patent infringment....

the look is great, as good as the iPod, which is saying alot, but that USB drive could be reason enough not to buy it
dan, im pretty sure that theres plenty of people that would say the opposite, especially if it looks as great as an ipod, a USB drive would be reason enough to pay more for it, even
The USB is retractable.
Check the article when it was announced.

"It's also got a built-in full size USB On-The-Go port and retractable USB connector (what they're calling Shareport), so you can dock your Venzero with another -- or any other mass-storage compliant device"
Ooohh... It looks like Creative is just itching for some changes in American intellectual property policy. Just keep it up, guys, and we'll start taking popular votes against your court cases. Being held responsible as Amercan politicians? The horror. Man. This product looks sweet. If its a good idea, use it.
But hey, there's an idea! Creative wants to see you in court, so you take a net petition on the matter to scare them off! I like it. But then, there goes the RIAA. Oh, well.
I don't get why people are calling on a Creative lawsuit for the trackpad... did they sue iRiver?
