Toshiba launches TDP-T45U DLP portable projector

If you're looking for a mobile projector with some halfway decent specs and a very reasonable price tag, take a gander at Toshiba's new TDP-T45U. The XGA DLP projector has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 2500 ANSI lumen brightness, 6.6 pound weight, composite, component, S-Video, and "two computer inputs" (thanks -- they actually mean two VGA) for a $1,200 slim. Very nice write up, I would love to get a projector although they are still out of the price range I am willing to spend. I hope that the price comes down in the next couple of years so they are easily accessible. I finally got a flat screen monitor, its a 19 inch 700:1 contrast ratio. Cost me the same as my 14 inch CRT did about 10 years ago. Hopefully the projectors will be the next to drop in price dramatically!
