Interestingly enuf.. I have an old cybershot 5mpixel camera with a 2 gb card and that does me fine for now.. I know 4gb duo's are dirt cheap but the majority of 4gb+ don't come with the adapter.. for what it's worth... I'm seriously thinking 'bout just buying a new camera down the line and NOT buying more memory stick memory (unless it's less than half what it is now during a Black Friday Event, or something like that).. next will be compact flash which is 1/2 the price of memory stick memory.. why? well over 98% of the Sony models have PROPRIETARY batteries which will cost you a bundle to replace.. my old cybershot 5mpx used 2-AA batteries! So I'll have to go to another brand to get AA battery design.. that also will save me money by not having to buy more costly memory stick down the line! So, use your old sony products until they die & buy something else in the future.. screw Sony, the overpriced bastards and their $600+ game consoles too!
Memory stick is a dying memory standard.. nothing besides a SONY product supports it, really except a super-multi flash reader.. but the influence of the memory stick is declining due to lack of innovation by Sony!
