I am returning my Sansa e260 today, and have already ordered the new Mini. I was very conflicted, but this addresses my two concerns with the Nano: 1) Battery life. 2) Scratches.
The Sansa e260 is a great player. It is bulkier, and the video is useless, but there is a lot going for it. I also like how I am not a slave to ITunes with the Sansa. That being said, I have an mp3 player for podcasts, and nothing beats an IPod for that.
