Gamers choose HD DVD over Blu-ray
Our gaming-centric blog brethren, Joystiq, were curious if Sony's supposed trojan horse for Blu-ray, you know it as the PS3, was in fact a trojan horse. Do gamers really care about Blu-ray or rather is the Xbox 360's HD DVD add-on just what the HD DVD Promotional Group needed to further cement their lead? According to Joystiq's poll with over 6,000 participants, HD DVD is the high-def format of choice with 2,500 votes. Keep in mind these are gamers and not home theater enthusiasts saying this. The poll is still on going but we highly doubt for the outcome to change this far into it.
