Well hello Mr.
high-definition Everio, nice to finally see you in the fo' realz. Oh sure, it's still a prototype but at least it's a
working prototype instead of just marketing images. Even though it's on display right now at CEATEC in Japan, JVC is playing coy with important details like disk capacity and format those 3 CCDs will record to. Still, it's good to see that FUJINON lens glinting under the tradeshow lighting don't you think? Oh hey, is that an HDMI jack... sure is. A few more snaps after the break courtesy of Impress.

That looks BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait until it gets reviewed, it might be worth holding out for.
O.o
Wow, that is beautiful. I mean, rediculously so. I'd love to have one of these, but I am sure the price will be out of this world.
Great to see how tech is progressing though, and I look on with the hopes that one day it'll drive down prices to what consumers like myself can afford.

To #1: Congradulations, your rediculous. God, people, really, learn some basic spelling....
Umm... were you being sarcastic? I hope, as "congradulations" is spelled "congratulations" and "your" in this context is "you're", and finally, "rediculous" is spelled "ridiculous". And as far as I can tell, there's not one grammatical or spelling error in number one's post...
I want one. Bad @$$! Look at it. Small, fujinon f1.8 zoom lens, tapeless, A FOCUS RING! Think we'll get 1080 or will JVC stick with 720? Please JVC, no more HDV! Give us HQ codecs! Pleeeeeeaaaase! What do you think is a reasonable guess for internal memory capacity? 30GB? 40GB? One can only dream...
Hey "General Public", learn the difference between "your" and "you're" before you critique other people's spellings! YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE AND ARE NOW BANNED FROM READING OR POSTING ON ENGADGET!
Yes, I was being sarcastic, and it was actually #2, not one, sorry for the typo. Seems there' nary a post without someone commenting on how rEdiculous something is. It grates my eyes.
And to Rob: Grow up!
I love how people say they were being sarcastic when they screw up. Perhaps "rediculous" was sarcasm, but clearly "your" was ignorance. I say keep the spelling comments to yourself. This is were people throw out quick comments on tech gadgets -- if a misspelling grates your eyes, thats sounds like your problem, not ours.
BTW, love all the new Camcorders coming out!!!
Wow, General Public, you had me going over my post like 6 times like WTF what did I spell wrong? I don't spell wrong! I even use punctuation, for crying out loud, and correctly to boot. I also don't like that our names don't link to our websites anymore. )=
