Sprint to launch three new MOTOALLCAPS devices
Just 'cause Verizon is the biggest domestic CDMA carrier in the game doesn't mean Sprint is just going to let themselves get pushed around when it comes to phone exclusives. Well, at least not all of the time. Sprint is busting out three new Motorola devices this fall, the MOTOKRZR, MOTORAZR and MOTOSLVR, and Sprint will be pushing its broadband content offerings to all of 'em. Not a lot of deets to be had, other than an "early November" availability -- and of course a comprehensive list of all the snazzy content, Telenav GPS service, "Phone as Modem" and Bluetooth capabilities available for the EV-DO phones -- but it's not like there's a dearth of info on these models. We're guessing the MOTORAZR of which Sprint speaks is the boring old V3m RAZR that's been out for VZW for a couple months, while the MOTOSLVR should be the L7c. The MOTOKRZR is of course that K1m hotness that just recently dropped into Verizon's lineup (Alltel's too), and it's good to know Sprint isn't far behind. Right now all you can do is register for more info on the KRZR release when it comes available, but we're sure we'll have plenty of launch info soon, seeing as early November isn't too incredibly far away. Alternatively, we've heard word from those in the know that these three are due on the 23rd of October, which seems to be contradicted by this PR, but we won't give up hoping. That same source gave us word on a Q1 '07 release of the Motorola Q, so hopefully that prediction works out a little better.

Awesome, I've been waiting forever to get a Motorola phone with Sprint...
Same out-dated Motorola garbage they've been peddling for the past few years.
Wow... so now Motorola is coming to Sprint. Why should anyone care? None of those phones seem to be superior to the Samsung A900.
Don't get me wrong, the phones look great, and they have EV-DO, but they don't best the A900 in any way, (and they are being released months and months behind.)
@ Deluxe, huh? The KRZR is new. Yeah, it's part of the RAZR family, but I don't see how this is bad for Sprint customers -- they get more choice. By the looks at some of those Sanyo phones Sprint has for sale, an old-fashion RAZR seems like a pretty good option for the non-smart phone toting folks.
Anyone know when the new MOTO's are coming to GSM...specifically T-Mobile??

@Henry - They're out man. T-Mobile doesnt sell them, just go buy one unlocked and pop in your SIM. T-Mo is good about supporting phones they dont even sell also.
Sweet, sprint has the best data coveraged and now some tasty looking phones.
I just got my KRZR K1m from VZW and it is SEXY and oh so shiny. I love it!
As much as I despise Sprints service, I am glad they are bringing out more EV DO devices. I can only hope that the competition from Sprint encourages Verizon to drop their sky hi data prices.
Hopefully this will mark the beginning of the end of the dirty cheap, clunky plastic Sanyo options offered now.
maybe this is too little, too late, funny after low q2 numbers sprint decide motorola phones are looking good
Brian, I have no idea how you can say that the A900 beats the KRZR. It's a RAZR knockoff. The worst part about it.. only 48 Mb internal storage and no external storage options OF ANY KIND. The camera on the A900 is also the same Samsung POS thats been on every phone for the last 2-3 years. That's just the starting point, I could go on for hours about how terrible the A900 is, poor battery life, wretched reception, shoddy speakerphone and camera, etc... Now, I'm not knocking Sprint or Samsung, because I use both Sprint service and I own an A940 by Samsung. I think this is wonderful news. I will be one of the first in line to buy a KRZR or SLVR.

Amen on everything about the A900, except for the reception. It gets pretty solid reception.
I had one for a few days, and I had 1 battery bar after getting out of work. I didn't even use it at work! Horrible battery life.
Nice and in time for my 2 year upgrade! I'm hoping the updated Q comes Sprint's way too, but I'll be happy with the KRZR or SLVR
i dont know what all the hype is, all most all the review sites gave this phone a pretty bad review.
but then again that was for the verizon model. are the sprint ones any better or also cut down?

I also hope the motoRIZR becomes available... i like the samsung d807 but i would like the RIZR more. any clues on when it will come out on sprint, or at all for that matter?
