Wolf-N-Fox brings a bit of Merom to Korea
No model number here or anything, that would be way to convenient, and we're pretty sure we've seen this OEM look before, but Korea's Wolf-N-Fox is busting out a new Core 2 Duo lapster, and we though we'd let you know all the same. The 15.4-inch laptop sports a WSXGA+ resolution (1,680 x 1,050), and runs a 1.66Ghz C2D T5500 processor, with 1GB of RAM, an 80GB HDD, CD-R/DVD combo drive and Intel 945GM graphics to round out the specs. It's a reasonably sized unit, at 1.3 inches thick and 5.7 pounds, especially considering the disc drive is swappable for an extra HDD if it strikes your fancy. Price isn't too bad either, at around $1150 US.

Guys, come on, its spelled 'way TOO convenient'
On the technical side though, it would all depend on how easy it is to do the swap for the DVD drive. If you can do that on the go, its a great idea! But if not, I cant see many people doing the swap.
1,680 x 1,050 on 15.4 might be hard too read
That's why Windows has an option to increase the DPI.
The screen res seems fine to me. I don't have any problems with 1400x1050 on my 14" screen which I assume is about the same.
hmmm.... sony vaio laptops had the whole "hot swappable" thing going on about 8 years ago (my first vaio!)... but as with all of sony's technological innovations, it never really caught on.
You can swap most optical drives yourself anyway - it's usually just a couple of screws at the bottom. I've done it to my old Fujitsu myself!
yeah but on the old sony vaios you could do it on the fly even with the laptop on. was actually quite useful cause you could also swap in a spare battery.
It's a rebranded Clevo. Google Image Search for "M660N," quite similar if you ask me.
