GQ Taiwan auctions custom 360s for charity
We really thought we'd seen it all when it comes to Xbox 360 case mods and paint jobs, but this new Honest-SkinBox really, and truly, takes the cake. We suppose it's for a good cause -- GQ Taiwan and Microsoft got 10 artist to create custom Xbox 360s, which are being auctioned off on Yahoo Taiwan, with the proceeds going to benefit World Vision -- so we can't really cast too many aspersions. But really, what were they thinking with this one? The SkinBox, from American artist "Honest" is built to look like a living thing, in the middle of digesting that "snack" you can see glued to the side of the 360. It's hard to call the unit much of a resumé builder, but it sure got our attention. Thanks, Honest, but we think we'll be sticking with our plain ol' non-nausea-inducing boringbox.

is that a turd in the middle!!?
Hey that's where I lost my finger!
wtf?! Xbox360 dipped in white clay?!
Actually, I love it. But then again, I'm also a Silent Hill fan. (Ah, James, when will you ever learn...)
I think I'd need a weapon before I went near that thing. But do I stick with easy to use, or powerful... I never could decide... If I'm gonna be playing with that thing, I'll have to bring some health drinks, just in case.
When I first saw this, I thought that an X-Box 360 caught fire somehow.
I thought it was a dust-covered 360.
Weird... I guess it's just me, but that Flash file doesn't work in Firefox (!). IE7, on the other hand, takes the cake. (Wow, I can't believe I just said that)
These 10 xbox360s are sitting on display in a an Eslite bookstore in Taipei and I saw them the other week. While this one does look pretty gross, it's not even close to being the ugliest... (cough*doppel*cough)
When I saw "HONEST" next to the pic of that 360 I thought they were auctioning off a 360 made of sh*t and toilet paper, lawl.
Boo hiss, Joe. For shame.
i think i will start making a list of pro microsoft and negative song blogs from endgaget.
Besides how hideous that thing looks... what about how uncomfortable it would be to hold that controller.
This, my friend, is not art.
the damn thing looks as though it has been dipped in wet cement and then left to dry. looks absolutely bang out of order. the only 'living' thing it resembles is a pile of dung. well, there is my 2 cents of rant.
I too thought it had been burned. How bored to you have to be to not play your 360 but play with it?
1984 Sheepdog, anybody?
to me it looks like its in a cast or paper mashay and you left the thing at the beach and sand got all over it then it looks like a dog took a dump on the side of it when they were making the cast or paper mashay whichever and they didnt take it off thats what i see when i look at that 360.
Looks like someone put their special sauce all over their 360.
WTF.. it looks like either it was dropped in mud or like someone's blood and remains were scattered over it...
