Hi. I was wondering if i would be a candidate for this procedure. Im 17 years old. My retina in my left eye is 75% detatched. I was diagnosed with coates disease 8 years ago. I had the leaking retina frozen with cryotherapy.I am mostly blind in the affected eye, leaving me with limited (blurred) peripheral vision. I look foward to the new advances that will take place in the future. The quesiton is should i stick it out and wait another 5 or so years for stem cell research to be perfected, or close to it. Im just a teen, who's anxious to see things normally again.
