Samsung squeezes T-DMB into MS61, calls it K60
Following the ancient Korean saying: "if it hath an LCD, T-DMB so shall it have also," Samsung just popped a T-DMB receiver into what looks to be the SDC-MS61 we spotted last month, and they're calling their new creation the SDC-K60/DMB. That's about all there is to know here, since the camera is packing the exact same 3-inch widescreen LCD, 6 megapixel CCD, 1600 ISO and 3x zoom. No word on how much more this version will cost, or when we should be seeing it on Korean shelves -- but it's not like we had that info for the SDC-MS61 either.

I just experienced HD radio for the first time yesterday.
Why are we (the US) so far behind on this stuff?
DMB seems like the bee's knees based on the sheer tonnage of gear coming out for it.
Why aren't we pursuing it too?

Off topic- can engadget have a legend of the site somewhere that deciphers all the the dozens of acronyms I come across in every article posting?
HD radio is still so new here, I saw one in Circuit City with NO RECEPTION! So they are selling a $250 HD radio that played static, lol.
