Epson's Endeavor NJ2000 laptop: the new drab in business computing
Epson has a new business-minded laptop for Japan in this, their Endeavor NJ2000. With looks meant to compliment your prowess with the three-hole punch, this Core 2 Duo slab brings a 15.4-inch, 1280x800 (WXGA) display with integrated 945GM Express graphics, up to 2GB DDR2 memory and 160GB SATA disk, 3-in-1 memory slot, 802.11b/g WiFi and a 5.5 hour battery. Core 2 Duo equipped models start at about ¥98,700 (roughly $831) with some el cheapo Celeron M configs available to those of you buying your suits straight off the rack. Come on, don't sweat it, no one is going to chat you up over this 2.8-kg / 6.2-pound piece of kit anyway.

I don't get it. If this is such a boring laptop...why bother writing an article about it?
So, if it's a black laptop made by Lenovo/IBM, it gets props; but if it's a black laptop made by a smaller/less likeable company, you bash it?
Great going, Engadget.
Oh a Vaio......
You know what the problem is, Engadget? You guys have reviewed toooooooo many laptops. That's why stuff like this looks like drab to you. :-P
Actually, I don't see what the problem is. So it's not the most aesthetically pleasing laptop but it's not an eyesore either. Plus, you can't argue with the pricetag.
I think you guys need to be confined in a space without lappies for a while so that you can come afresh and marvel at them the way you used to when you were excited little kid-nerds. ;-)
Hey what's going on??? Why is every comma being accompanied by a slash??
Low-enders Game.
Meh. I'd buy this laptop. The only game I play nowadays is Final Fantasy XI, and it'll push that well enough.
Is anyone else having problems with the Google Start Page feed for Engadget?
AND WHY IS THIS BOX SPELLCHECKING ME? I think it must be a new feature on Firefox 2.0. I just upgraded yesterday (and have no idea how long its been out o.o')
