Nokia wants you to bump your music transparently
We know it's getting cold again in Europe these days, but Nokia wants to make your phone the hottest boombox this side of Espoo. We're not sure how it works, nor how many D batteries it requires, but apparently it'll let you hook up your Nokia phone (no word on other handsets) and blast your tunes to your friends, all with transparent plasticy style. Also, we've also got no idea how many Euros it'll take for you to enjoy this transparent ghetto-blaster -- but really, just how many ghettos are there in Finland, anyway?

HAHAHA!!.... oh, is this thing for real?
this look s a lot like the muji shower boombox i saw at the MoMA design store today. it was discounted half price--apparently because no one bought it. hmm...
oh transparency is so hip...a couple of years ago
This unfortunately _is_ real, I saw this a couple of weeks ago at an art gallery/happening in Helsinki. I'm almost embarrased that Nokia is finnish.
And of course no support for 3,5mm jack or even ipod, so this guy gets to listen on his 7 songs that can be crammed in his phone. Can't remember what it cost, but add a 200€ for the design and you're close.
I spotted this at helsinki's flagship opening.
nokia invited a group of break dancers to party outside the store playing music off an N91 through this boombox.

This box is for real. I've seen one last summer as I was in turku, finnland.
Oh no.
The box is twice as big as it should be.
Back to the drawing board, Nokia!
Boom boom skake the room! sure? Nokia ready for this.
Awsome!!
This looks completely impractical and will only sell to Nokia retailers.
Last year I picked up a transparent handbag with speakers for my daughter for $5 in Yokohama - flimsier and less boom, no doubt, but equally naff.
