I think it looks cool.
In the words of Master Shake:
"It's heavy as hell but it's also cool as crap."
holySh1t, that THING is big. its crappy but cool.
I dont know what you are talking about calling this project "ugly" seeing as its a personal project, not a company production.
Its very clean and professional looking if you ask me. If you follow the read link there is a video of it in action as his Carputer, its pretty damn cool.
Wow. I would by one if the creator were to sell it - might actually make my X50v more useful than just a fancy post-it note.
When will Dell ever update the Axim? If Dell could blend the functionality of the Axim with the screen space of the Nokia 770, we'd have a fantastic device (I don't want a gigantic phone, I want a useful PDA/Internet tablet).
Now THAT is a mod. I've had 2 Axims. I'm one of those that actually still uses a PDA lol.
I go through a screen protector about every month!
If cingular ever gets a good and relatively inexpensive smart phone, I'll probably send my PDA
to the closet. I think the reason Dell isn't concentrating on updating their PDA line is that they see the writing on the wall. PDAs are pretty much a dead format. It will be smart phone everything eventually.
I am still sticking with my Axim is at 624MHz it is still one of the fastest mobile devices. No way those smartphones can compete against. Another reason I don't use smartphones is they crash all the time, especially when you are trying to answer an incoming call.
"a car charger"...?
That is possibly the coolest handheld dock EVER.
What handheld enthusiast hasn't dreamed of something like this at one time or another?
Really nice!
Wow, awesome and cool!. Umm, I don't think that will fit into my pocket :(
I already have a laptop......
