Sirius InV SV2-TK1, a new in-dash receiver
So the internets are predicting a new low-end Sirius dash receiver on the horizon. The InV SV2-TK1, according to Orbitcast, sports a simple design with a "three-line display (artist, title, channel), 10 channel presets, a one-touch Jump Button, parental controls, 100-channel built-in wireless FM transmitter and a real-time clock." However, Electronista tells us that users won't be able to use the universal Sirius plug-and-play connector, sadly. While the receiver should be available soon, our pricing info is conflicting, with those sites quoting the MSRP as being $50 and $60, respectively. Still, it's no slick Stiletto, but it'll get you your Stern, sans problème.

Radioshack already has pricing for this. $59.99 . Its nicknamed the Stratus. It is alot like the Sirius one. And will only work in the car. Ie. no home kit for it.
No, this is not the Stratus (as I pointed out in the Orbitcast article). It looks very similar to the Stratus but lacks the universal connector.
The Stratus is going for $60, this is probably where Electronista got confused. The InV will MSRP for $49.99 but most retailers will sell it for less.
Sorry, i just cought that myself and was coming back to add the correct comments. Sory for the mix up.

So I hope that means it will be $29.99 at Best Buy - I bought the Sirius One from there for that price. Kinda like this unit more from a design standpoint, and having more info displayed is cool in my book.
Then again, if there's a decent discount on the Stratus, I might just get that - I like the idea of a universal connector to be able to use it in the apt and car. I'd have to get the antenna/power adaptor kit to use the One at home..
They had better make the display a lot easier to read in the car. My sportster replay fades as the display heats up and loses contrast. It's nearly impossible to read in the summer when the car gets all hot. I listen primarily in the car so this would be a great thing to have, not to mention more professional looking than some suction-cup BS protruding off my windshield. Sirius-ready headunits are overpriced so I have avoided going that route.
