First off Wyatt Resistance: Fall of Man was a launch game that got 5 out of 5 and almost the same rating as Gears. and if you compare the graphics of gears and resistance side by side on the same kind of tv's resistance beats very clearly, Their is no way that you can honeslty think that the 360 is a better system. the Ps3 has 8 Floating cell processors, the 360 has one. the low end ps3 has everything that the premium PS3 has and more, The ps3 is running a brandnew custom made Nvidia Graphics processor, the 360 is last years model of one of ATI's cards, Ps3 doesnt need bateries in their wireless controllers, the 360 does thats is loads of cash in batteries. the PS3 has Six Axis enough said. and you can say all the new games are ports. well duh so were all the 360's games at launch, the ps3 didnt use 70 percent of its power on resistance and it already looks better than gears of war did and the 360 used up 95 percent of its power. the PS3 is Backwards Compatable with all playstation games the 360 is only backwards compatable with few games. and yeah microsoft has better online but that is about it. and alot of you were complaining about the price of the PS3. well stop it if you trade in a ps2 when you go to buy a ps3 you get 100 dollars off so in fact the ps3 is almost the same price as the 360. and wyatt how can you say that the Blu-Ray will be out dated. blu-ray is the most technologically advanced Hi Def Processor on the market. HDDVD isn't going to beat it within the next year the people who are dissing the ps3 are going to be eating their words because if you cant come up with something better than the things you got now you will be in sad shape. Oh and why do you think they released Gears of war almost at the same time PS3 launched HMM, they were trying to crap on the ps3 at launch trying to ruin it which they didnt. Because of the sheer power of the ps3 Essentially a super computer. now wyatt and randomguy do you have anything to say now

Nintendo produces one of the best consoles (with all due respect to Sony and Microsoft)
It has excellent graphics and a new feel in next gen gaming.

first of all....PS3 online is free but not as good as 360's.
PS3 and Xbox 360 have similar graphics, but 360 has more media and online features.
Wii has better motion sensing but no graphics or good online features, and it's made mostly for kids.
In my opinion plus bias :) Wii will sell at first because people want cheap fun quickly, and PS3 will be a late bloomer with some potential, but 360 will win, but it won't be a blowout.

in fact the xbox 360 has better graphics. that is a fact but some of ps3 games were made with better graphics. and the only reason the 360 had problems is because they rushed it. sony started working on the ps3 right after they came out with the ps2.and we are getting 1080p in the next update and they are also adding hdmi slot on the 360 so people can also use them. and the overheating thing only happened 2 a few people and they fixed it long ago. and hd-dvd is basicly a dvd read by a blue light. while the blu-ray is totaly a new thing. and they are both going to do great. i got my 360 for hd-dvd and i got my media center computer with my blu-ray dvd burner for blu-ray and hd-dvd. and since i can just stream the bul-ray disk 2 my 360 since its a mediacener also. and all this is run by vista ult. 360 has better games and tons more futures. and vary soon we are getting a 120gb hard drive. the 360 is better in everyway y pay so much when you could get a 360 and the hd-dvd addon. and the ps3 dashboard is pritty lame. and u cant even chat or linten or email somebody while in game. cant even log out and switch users. you have to exit the game on the ps3. and XBOX LIVE is another reason also. i have both the wii and the 360. i really never play the wii and i can clearly say i cant tell the difference between wii graphic and the xbox 1. some games dont work right with the controller on the wii.
XBOX360= will sell the most and will have most games. #1 place
Wii= will do great most people will get because vary cheap and the controller. #2 place

The 360 is alright but it has to many bugs in it (mine broke shortly after I bought it)

The console crisis is effecting all of us! Do i get a Wii, PS3 or XBOX 360?! Well after many months of debating this with friends and people, and of reserch on the internet this is what i have come up with my reserch on the CONSOLE CRISIS!!!!!!
Wii-
Big package in a little package. This console is the most interactive console to hit the market. You can actually be in the game. Just think: On the green with your putter one stroke away, you walk up to bat in yankee statium, roger clemens throws you a 102 mpg fastball, or your pupping up a ballon to beat your friend for a gold star to get across a maze of fun, or even in WWII fighting the germans with our countries heros!! Many people think this game was strickly made for little kids, and for cheap parents. I completley disagree. This game is very interactive. Many people also say that this console is tiring and it hurts.. well what i say to that is... your kidding me... all you have to do is just tap it, or swing it a lil not a full swing around. With the new things coming out with the wii i think it is a good console.

XBOX 360-
The xbox 360 is a console for almost every gamer. Personaly i think it has the best online play out of them all. It is the best community online console. Many many many people play online with it. The other good thing about it is the games.. wow great games. Gears of war, Halo 3, must i go on!!!!! The console at first was a bust with the mest of ventilation stuff, but they worked out the kinks ( as we think ;) ) and its a good size. Lastly, the grapics are pretty darn good! They are alot better than you think, and i think the graphic s are almost, ALMOST the same as PS3! This console is good for a family with kids at least 10-14. the games do get a bit graphic but not that bad. It is good for kids, they have good games for kids, its just most great games are T-M. So unless your not a over protected parent this console is good for your family.

Well, well, well. We have come far witht he playstation. The playstaion 3 is a console for a hardcore, very active gamer. The console has many many sports games, a few shooters, almost no games for kids. This console is good for 15 and up. This console has not so many games. it has the least ammount at the moment. the console has OUTSTANDING graphic but for a price. The console is pretty good playing wise. But for me. it got boring. Its just like my playstaion 2 but its 100x better graphics and the online play wasnt that bad.The Blueray stuff.. yeahh great what ever tho, i could care less how my dvds look, big whoop. But i got to admit The balld of ricky bobby did look pretty nice on that thing. Many people think this a great console, but its just boring. Not many games yet, maybe in the futre but right now, not suiting my pleasures.

My opinon on these. I would probaly have to go with the Xbox 360. I think its a good games, good graphics, good price, good online, just bascily a good console. It seems like many people underestimate the console, i think this will be mine in a short time.

I think, personally, the Wii is the best because of its new features, and it's motion sensitive controller. The controller can be used to play normal, traditional-control games, or it can be used with its motion sensor to be more of a motion game. My preference, being a casual, "kinda" gamer, is the Wii, but my opinion is that the PS3 is basically just a "shinier" PS2 with a few more bells and whistles.

360 is the worst because of the magnificently crap job microsoft have done manufacturing it. I mean, have you seen the amount of people who have reported the red ring of death?
Wii is pretty shit too in my opinion. It's just a lame novelty, and i guarantee by next summer, it's sales will have decreased significantly. Sure its cheap, but it hardly rivals its competition. And "unique and original gameplay" can go to hell for all i care. Waving sticks around oh boy! [sarcasm]. Normal controllers are way easier to control.
Playstation 3 is easily the best because of its staggering power and the features it has. I'll admit that the current games availiable are not too impressive compared to the 360's, which is down to the cold hard fact that the 360 has had a significant headstart being released a year earlier. And as for the people complaining about the price, the cheapest blu ray player around at the moment is $449. Compare that to PS3's price, and your getting a blu ray player as well as astounding hardware, a ps2 console, a ps1 console, internet capable (as good as a PC's browser), a dvd player (Wii currently doesnt have one), a SWEET media player, and 60gb's of memory to use however you wish to. AS WELL as MANY more brilliant features.

ps3 and the xbox360 are tied with me. i ended up getting the ps3 just because i have the ps2 and a whole bunch of games for it. the wii is only good if you have it for secondary gaming system. the controler was a good idea but there are no good games for the wii. some of the games are good at first then get old in a couple of days. the wii is a third-generation console and it doesn't even have a dvd player. the wii is for little kids. the ps3 and the xbox are far better

Well well, I always knew there would be a massive debate about this, I mean three genuinally amazing consoles all released at once, it's gonna cause a stir.
But I think we need to fairly judge which is the best console.

OK, almost christmas time 2007 and the debate is still raging...
For me the PS3 is way out. It has less processing power than the 360 and costs almost double...
I'm having trouble deciding betwen the 360 and the Wii...
The 360 is an epic console... With its classic controls its a sure fire win for the hardcore gamer.
However, the Wii is groundbreaking with its new technology and will be a sure fire hit with kids and more active gamers.
They are calling these consoles "Next Gen" and for me the best next gen console has to be the wii, because the XBox360 isn't really next generation. All it has evolved is its HD graphics, xbox live and xbmc...
The wii has evolved complete wireless features (apart from the power supply), better graphics (not HD but who cares if all youre gonna do is play zelda and mario?), new pads, and interactive playing.
The PS3 has evolved the SIXAXIS style of playing aswell but is far too expensive. Its like a hybrid between the 360 and the wii but WAY too expensive.
The wii is the best next gen console but may not be the best overall console though... ARGH this debate is killing me!

I have a 60 gb ps3. it is freegin SWEET! since the price drop, i think more customers will buy sony but not as much as the xbox or wii. people say the ps3 is crap well i have played it for 12 hours straight, it never froze, never overheats, and is very quiet. my friend has the xbox, and the second month he had it, the hardware fried, but he played it nonstop in an enclosed area. i want both the xbox and the wii, but im afriad if i get the xbox 360 it might brake. the wii, i only have one comment; AWESOME

the wiimote is a fekkin deathtrap. on www.wiihaveaproblem.com it lists multiple incidents of wiimote related accidents which include crippling a cat and smashing a lamp. that was hanging from the fekkin ceiling!!! another lampshade related injury resulted in another man cutting his finger through to the bone.

I think it's a matter of what people really like of the new consoles. It's the games that people love. Like for the Wii, Zelda Twilight princess is one of the best games out right now. But Halo 3 is out for the 360 so it is basically even between the consoles,
but I prefer the Nintendo Wii

I own a wii, and it is really over rated. One of my friends has a Xbox 360 and I would trade him for it any day. I also have PS3 coming in sometime soon, so when I get it I will compare all three. When the second generation of PS3 games come out, it will be the dominate system, and although wii sales are soaring, I would not recomend it. Frankly the games suck, and the whole remote thing is stupid. Save up for a PS3!!!!
The xbox 360 is the best console i bought a ps3 and got bored of it after the second day, on paper it is superior but don't get drawn in by that xbox has all of the better games, because ps3 sold off there main games to microsoft, the wii is a very fun console but the graphics let it down, and also it doesnt play dvd's! which i think is stupid but there is an add on to it, playstation live is very poor it is free but compared to xbox live there is so much difference. also who would want a console shaped like a grill? it just looks ridiculous, my opinion the xbox 360 is so much better.
the wii is nowhere near the parent consoles. personally i love the ps3. design,home,free,sixaxis,compatibility,flash drive ports,7 players at same time,blackness (black is my fav color), blu ray e.t.c. i cant even finish them!
