Interesting. I thought they were closer to break even from statements made after their latest earnings report (the $75 loss listed in the article is definitely outdated info though). Maybe they were taking marketing and other costs into account.
Either way, MS seems to be in a pretty good position (as does Nintendo) to actually make money this generation. It seems Sony will have a hard time making up that deficit without dominating like they did last gen (still possible but seems unlikely).
