We know that, statistically speaking, you probably didn't get a PS3 tonight. That's cool, no shame in the game if you tried. But we want you to tell us about it. Did you get one? No? What happened? We're sure you've got a story, so let it be heard.

Walked into the Gamestop where I pre-ordered at 12:15 pm. Bought the system. Joked with others there about people robbing me. Left the mall. Tomorrow... $1,600 in my pocket.

I preordered mine at eb games about 2 months ago with no line. I got hooked up, nobody found out that they were preordering till later. Every1 else was at all the other stores. I just got up went to pick it up and went to work. No riots, no cold, no standing in rain, no bb guns, no armed robbery.. no mad lynch mobb.. I got it to sell it on ebay but i signed up for 14 hours overtime @ my job on friday so i didnt have time 2 set up my auction. Sigh.. prices have gone down since yesterday morning... Guess I blew my chance...

I waited at my local Wal-mart (not 24 hours) for 11 hours until midnight. And they had 2 60's and 2 20's on site and they were guaranteeing 10. I was the 10th and final person in line. Got my rain check and now I'm waiting..

Guess I could have been a little clearer. The Civic Si was in very limited supply when it came out, especially with navigation. I was gonna switch and go with a different car, but opted to wait it out for what I really wanted.

Again, I had a pre-order get canceled and I thought about just forgetting about it and getting a 360 and the Halo/Gears of War games, but I figure it would be best for me to just wait it out.

Wow... this is seriously amazing.

This is something like 50% of the people getting the PS3 did so purely for selling on Ebay.

Doesn't really say much for the popularity of the PS3... just the hype.

I feel somewhat guilty. I wasn't planning to get one at all, then a buddy dragged me to Toys 'R' Us to camp out for the **presale** back in October. The day of reckoning rolled around and to the surprise of absolutely no one, TRU only received 1/2 of their promised 60g units. I got my 60g, but the dude I went with did not. Because they used time stamps from receipts instead of giving people in line numbers, the whole line system broke down once inside the store. Extremely frustrating. I'm thinking I owe someone a steak dinner. . .

I was there 22hrs before stores opend, but was sent away by every store in Northern Indiana, but I didnt give up till the end!!! I tried stores that wouldnt get them (ie Toys R Us) but I soon found out, that I was 11hrs to late to get one.....
