Reminder: Gears of Peace bidding over Wednesday!

Just a reminder to everybody, our first seasonal charity auction, Gears of Peace, is over this Wednesday. We know you might feel a little silly about plunking down a few hundies to play some Gears with Engadget and Major Nelson, but if you split it up between a few friends it won't seem as bad. Plus it's 100% deductible and 100% of the proceeds go to Save Darfur, so let the bidding begin!

P.S. -To those who bid but don't win -- don't let that stop you from donating to the charity of your choice this holiday season.

Ryan, How many will be playing on the Engadget Team, the reason I ask is to find out how many team mates I need to line up for that day.

I think it is really great that you are doing some good, and giving back to the world as a whole. I myself would not and did not pick this charity but it will not stop me from bidding on your auction. I hope this will become a regular thing that you do.

I think you might be able to get Leo Laporte from Tech.tv also, in his last podcast he just got an xbox 360 and is loving Gears of War.
