I actually had some issues a couple of months ago going through security with my Adidas 1 shoes. They have the battery in the same spot as the Nike's spot for the tag and then has the circuitry for the cushioning in the arch area...
It was pretty funny actually. They stared at the shoes on the screen asking me, "what are these things?" They were put in the "sniffer" and I was on my way in a couple of minutes. just funny how people freak out when they see something different than they are taught in their training. Good to throw off someone every now and then. :D
