Don't bother picking up a PS3, PS4 is right around the corner

In response to some fairly bogus claims by an "analyst" last week, Sony has come out of the woodwork to state that yes, it is indeed planning to build a PlayStation 4, but not until at least 2010. Therefore, by taking this quote completely out of context, we have deduced that there's a mere three year wait for some next-next-gen goodness, which can be easily tide over by FFXII, GTA and SotC. However, were we to actually do our job, we would let you know that in the interim Sony is planning on firmware upgrades for the PS3 to expand media center capability, allow third party applications, and to support third party controllers similar to that of the Wii. "To say that there will be no PS4 because of a management change is a bit far fetched," says Paul Holman. He also went on to mention the possibility of a keyboard and mouse bundle with the PS3, predict at least 20 new games for the European PS3 launch, and to tout that schmancy Cell processor under the hood. We're standing by for a PR cleanup crew any moment now.

by the way, microsoft will bash sony one day...after all, it's improving like a bitch...just as for it for homtail and everyother thing they've made, they just spinned it with improvment out of nowhere changing their hole line of original products...(msn, hotmail, etc)...its not a bad thing tho, sooner or later, xbox will dominate it...xbox came out later than the first playstation...and with time it will get better...

Right now at this moment... PS3 isnt doing so well... with the upcoming 360 Elite with HDMI and 120 gig HD i think PS3 will lose just because of its malfunctioning problems... but there are rumors about the PS3 coming out with an 80 gig HD and removing the 20 gig version completely and adding an extra hundred dollars to the 80 gig version and keeping the 60 gig the way it is. All i have to say is that Sony is not doing what they expected, and Microsoft is just laying back and counting their money... Nintendo is out of the question because we all know its shit...its for little kids and for old ppl who want to feel young again but at the end of the day Wii is garbage... im not a fanboy of any corporations just here to comment on them but currently the 360 is dominating and PS3 is eating its dust...BUT. they Sony is going to come back in 2008 - 2009 with some top secret ideas in mind that they are going to add to the PS3 and coming out with some exclusive games that xbox wont even think of... and also with the launch of Halo 3 in late November this year PS3 will just be in the shadows... but im hearing some good things about Killzone 2 and MGS4 and FF and other games but in the end ... no one is going to win because of the technology that is available to both Microsoft and Sony. Technology is never going to end nothing is the best because something better is going to come out within 5 months time and then whos gonna be boasting about them having the top of the line and the latest technology in their console? But anyways overall the console wars is never going to end. Nintendo still has some tricks up its sleeves, they just havent used them yet.

I think the PS3 & Wii is better cause on the internet, I read about Xbox 360 overheating and getting the red ring of death. So is it true that an Xbox 360 breaks very easily? Does it depend on how you handle it?
