LG Chocolate U830 brings the HSDPA love
LG's Chocolate just got a little sweeter, with the recent addition of HSDPA to that fantastic flip phone. The U830, its new designation, is loaded up with all sorts of other tasty treats, including 185MB of storage, a 2 megapixel shooter, stereo Bluetooth, three hours of talk time, 300 hours of standby time, and a music player (with 3.5mm headphones included!) -- all of this is pretty much what we'd seen rumored a few months ago. It'll first exclusively hit Hutchinson's 3 network in the UK, but we've got no further information as to when (or if) it'll be crossing the pond.

Sounds great, except no MicroSD/Transflash slot.
Come on, LG.
I saw this exact phone at a verizon booth in south carolina yesterday for 199.99
well, it obviously wasn't this EXACT phone because the phone featured above is GSM, while Verizon's 8600 is CDMA.
Yeah, I doubt we'll see the chocolate in any way, shape, or form outside of Verizon. Lookin at all the groovy colors that verizon is unloading, it looks like they are gonna protect their "chocolate" lineup from anobody else for a little while. How long did it take to get a CDMA RAZR? Eighteen months? In 18 months, will anyone care about this phone? Probably not.
Judging from the pictures, it looks just like the VX8600 with a slightly different keypad...
Not feeling the love - more like, than love.
Or maybe flirt.
Or she-just-brushed-against-me-and-gosh-does-her-hair-smell-nice more than love.
Okay, I'll stop now.
Suddenly and unexpectedly, I like one of the many chocolate phones. I was using my friends (original) chocolate phone and couldn't stand the controls. This looks like something I might buy.
When will this be released in the US?
No MicroSD slot?
hmm, I kind of like it. In the market for a new Verizon phone~
uhh, its already over "a" pond. and is available in Australia
