That is true that the Xbox 1 can output in HD however it doesn't have the power to playback HD video. The processor just isn't fast enough. And before you think I'm just talking out of my ass, I own a modded xbox 1 with the 128mb ram upgrade and it still won't play HD video (and yes I have it hooked up with component cables running Xbox Media Center at 720p).
