Wow, interesting read. Nice find. A lot of truth in that piece there. Makes a lot of sense too. Don't know why a lot of Americans cant see what's clearly in front of them, that their government is to blame for a lot of the atrocities in the world (I'm from Canada btw).
But thanks for that nonetheless.

I'm beginning to wonder if ryan is just selling his personal stash for profit.
R.J. Kollar @ Dec 26th 2006 10:37PM
Ya he is selling it for his own profit......... He is selling it for a good cause and it is all of engadget who is part of this not just Ryan. Cmon, he is doing a good thing relax.
Poor, but will donate @ Dec 27th 2006 12:10AM
i don't understand you guys. If you want to be generous and donate, than donate, but bidding on something when you don't plan on buying it immature. But when you do it for something for charity it is inhumane. Although i don't have $800 laying around to buy myself a ps3 (rent). I just donated $5 dollars to the red cross. Whether or not yo have that much money, you gotta be generous. Tis the season to give.
ninjagamer32 @ Dec 27th 2006 10:44AM
you guys should have used a Wii instead of a PS3.
A system people actually want.

I'm glad to see the auction raised a decent amount of money for Darfur. I wish I would be so lucky as to have enough money to have made a bid on it, but the $5 donation to the Salvation Army will have to do.

I just donated 25 bucks the other day when I first seen the auction, Seems like a good cause no matter what people say. If you can't aford the auction remember what its about and do what you can even if its volunteering. Happy Holidays.
Oh and to "litttle birdie" why not support something else to protest the war in iraq? Also remember not everyone here hails from th US.
