Jabra's BT8010 Bluetooth headphones go mono or stereo
Jabra's got another Bluetooth headset which you don't have to be insane to wear. The BT8010 functions as a lightweight, single-unit mono earpiece with up to 10 hours of talk or 300 hours of standby. Or connect the tethered stereo unit for full A2DP and AVRCP control of your music for up to 6 hours of stereo audio playback off a like-spec'd device. It also packs an OLED scrollable display to help browse and control your music. Although, how much help can a display be on the side of your head be? I just have to jump in here and say that I've owned at least a dozen different bluetooth headsets over the years, and the only one that's worked worth a damn is the Jabra BT250. It's actually comfortable to wear for long periods of time and actually sounds clear. When someone comes out with another headset that does that I'll buy it. But so far everyone seems dead set on having them hang off the front of your ear, rather than put the weight behind it.

#1 - Agree. I tried a couple other Bluetooth headsets and the Jabra BT250 was the only one that combined decent sound, reliable Bluetooth connection, and comfort. Plus, Jabra sent me a new charging cradle for FREE when I screwed mine up.
Still, going back to the old article that is linked from the main Engadget blurb, about people walking around wearing Bluetooth headset while they aren't even using a phone (or could easily hold one): what a bunch of loosers. Seriously, I was working overseas for a while -- where cell phone addiction is out of control (but that is another story) -- and I arrived back in southern California. Seems I was the only guy at the airport who did NOT sleep in my Bluetooth headset or wear it while in the john. What a bunch of pathetic wannabes....

I have question for Treo 700p owners.
Do you think that these will work in stereo for the treo? im looking for Blue tooth head phones for my phone. it would be nice to have blue tooth headphones for my phone & ipod that can simply switch with the push of a button. i guess I can't have it all.

Great. Now I can see idiots walking around the grocery store or mall with TWO headsets on instead of just one. Nothing screams "LOOK AT ME!" like someone wearing a headset while not talking on the phone.

2 handsfree Bluetooth headsets? That's a bit Nathan Barley, isn't it?

How about $139.95, and today? I know Store.TreoCentral has had them since early December: http://store.treocentral.com/content/accessories/9-115--1465.htm . My co-worker says they are pretty damn nice.. he uses them with his Treo 750.

In addition, RCS Computer Experience in NYC had these when I was in the store at the end of December. I tried them out with my T-Mo Dash (the lady was very nice) and they were actually pretty solid. I can't remember pricing information, but it wasn't too ridiculous (i.e. well under $150 if I remember correctly).

Just got them today, pairing them with my LifeDrive for audio and 680 for phone. Works like a champ and switches between the two seamlessly when calls come. Granted A2DP is not supported officially in any Palm OS device, so I have to rely on Softick Audio Gateway. Sound is decent, better than my Samsung SBH-100. I think it'll work fine on the 700p with v1.08 of SAG though, but they really should work on 680 support. ):
Sure, I look like an idiot, but it works. Contrary to the post, the display isn't for navigating music, but is primarily for caller ID and status indicators. Got it for $150 off of eBay.
