Why oh WHY will they not make a digital SLR. Why do these guys continue to settle for mediocrity?
This company used to be a giant in imaging. Now all I see are a bunch of crappy digital picture frames that damn near everyone makes these days, along with their o.k. P&S line that sells, but does not do their name justice...
Hell, there are barely any cameras in their booth.
I think you might find that Kodak do (or at least did) produce digital SLRs. Try searching for DSLR/c and DSLR/n.
With manufacturers like Canon and Nikon leading the field - especially with their history of glass still compatible with recent models - they may well have decided that providing photosensors and catering to the consumer market rather then prosumer+ would be more lucrative than trying to penetrate
