Sony is giving you one of the greatest console deals ever, they used to charge Europe several hundred dollars more no including tax, now you pay something like $50 more and a lot of tax.
For example: Even if PS3 costs exactly $600.00 for Europe, your price because of VAT would be $705.00. Much if not most of the price increase for Europe is VAT. Australia is the one being screwed.
