iPod shuffle -- now with color

Update: We got so distracted by all those flashy colors, we forgot to mention the neatest part of the announcement. You might remember the (minor) public outcry at Apple's failure to include those snazzy new iPod headphones with its 2G shuffle, especially considering the fact that the first time we got our hands on one, Apple was showing it off with the new headphones in tow. Well now it looks like Apple has finally gotten with the program and is including the new headphones with the 2G shuffle. Thanks, Christopher K. for pointing this out.
Does anyone know if apple will come out with an orange nano? If yes, when?
In the Apple Canada store they spell "colour" without the "u". :|

I've seen people complaining about the lack of black already.. the colours are just known for a couple of minutes! That's sick, but then again, most things are.
I quite like the Orange colour, it reminds me of carrots, which remind me of rabbits, which reminds me of Jazz Jackrabbit. Totally offtopic but it's true!
To remain ontopic, I think it's great that Apple did this, and I don't think a black version will come, or maybe as a 2gb version surprise! But I doubt it.

Well, happy Valentine's Day to my girlfriend. She just scored an engraved pink Shuffle.
The orange is sexy, I wish they made an orange nano..
if they did, i would have got an orange instead of my plain, crappy silver 4 gb nano.
Hey, did anybody notice? The shuffle now comes with the new earphones (the ones that come with the 2G nano and 5.5G video models). Look at the picture in this post and also in here:

Argh!! Why couldn't Apple have included those headphones from the start. Thanks for dumping your old technology on the early adopters. Nothing like rewarding your loyal customers with a slap in the face.
Anyone else notice the redesigned wall chargers?
Try and think for a minute why the included the old headphones. They might have had loads of those things going spare after the upgrades were announced, so where better to put them than in the new shuffles?
Sounds like a good idea if you've got loads of old stock lying around.

I was just looking at the Apple.ca page and colour is spelled correctly (that is, with the u).
Lack of new headphone in the past = clear up inventories.
Inclusion of new headphone = cost saving.

Erm...not when it's posted in the Canadian store. I'd also like to mention that you selfish Americans claim that your spellings are "proper english", while you didn't even invent the language -- that was the British, and their spelling of "colour" INCLUDES the "u".
You can buy a set 4 different color skins for $19.99 to make your grey shuffle pink, blue, green and red. With these new shuffle colors you are still stuck with the color you bought. The metal skins just slide on and you can wear a new one each day.
Oh i think it's really cool that Apple came out with these colour Shuffles. Although i don't really know how fun they are to use, so i never bought one. Somebody at TUAW mentioned that he/she uses the iPod at work/travel etc and the Shuffle when jogging, cool idea! I also wish the Nano came in orange too, the world needs colours!!:) If they'd come out with a red Shuffle i would definitely buy it for Valetines's for my gf! Maybe one for myself too:)
