Well, we've covered XP and Vista from a
software and features angle, and we've helped plot out your upgrade decisions from a
hardware standpoint, but now we're turning the upgrade guide over to you: the early adopter. You're already running Vista Ultimate (hell, you've been running the RTM
since the day it leaked, er...) and you've gotten acclimated to the ins and outs. So we want to know, will it blend? In other words:
- Does all your software work like before?
- Does all your hardware still function perfectly?
- Is it integrating with your network alright?
- Did it put up a fuss joining your domain?
- What kinds of bugs are you seeing?
Let us know how Vista's doing for you; let your fellow Engadget readers gain from your wisdom, be the first on the internets to gripe about early Vista release problems, let it all out.
P.S. -Mac nerds, please stay out of this one -- the Windows nerds have a mission to complete.

I have been unable to get the Olympus P-400 to work under Vista (x64). Installing the XP drivers fails with an error. Did you have to do anything special?
Does anyone know if the Zune software works with Vista yet?
the major problem I'm having is that the song I bought from the itunes store won't play. I authorize my computer and it still won't work.
Vista is working great. But the only thing that bugs me is it will be computers that are less than a year old that can run Aero Glass.
You know, there's an actual will it blend site...
http://www.willitblend.com
I'm sure Windows Vista will "blend" there :)
* Does all your software work like before?
A few quirks here and there, particularly with firefox playing WMP 11 content
* Does all your hardware still function perfectly?
Yeah, x/c the bluetooth stack doesn't work with Stereo headphones and the internal Soundblaster HD audio card isn't fully supported
* Is it integrating with your network alright?
Yeah no problems there
* Did it put up a fuss joining your domain?
Haven't tried
* What kinds of bugs are you seeing?
A couple explorer restarts, nothing major; no BSODs
Windows Vista cannot map to shared printers on a domain, this is crap. What good is Vista Business when my business can't even print to a shared printer. What type of business is it for, the 1 man business network who doesnt need to join a domain.
Domain join is about impossible unless you google the errors and realize you have to disable IPV6 before you can join a SBS 2003 domain.
Vista by itself seems to run great, but when it comes to the business side of things, it really seems to be sucking without hopefully a LOT of updates to come. As of current i joined domain, mapped my drives, but i cant print a damn thing except on my printer hooked up through USB.
I got symantec antivirus running, it says the TDI and NDIS are incompatible with Vista, so when I check for online solution to this, it says for me to get the update from symantec but I cannot find the link for it, so anyone can help me?
I have a Lexmark x2350 that works great with my older computer(Compaq), that has Windows xp. I bought a new computer (Compaq Presario) with Vista and the fax and scanner will not work. It didnt even install to the computer. The only thing I can do is print! Dang! Can someone help me with this? Is anyone having a similar problem or know a solution? Thanks and God bless
Jeneen: I am having that same problem with Vista on my HP Pavilion and my X2350 - I have no scanner functions, I am only able to print. Have you found a solution? God bless you too.
i need solutions 2 symantec tdi and ndis drivers incompatability problem
Gutsy Gibbon: Will it blend?
...checking...
Yes.
I was referred here by the Leopard folks. This is not the PC crowd. This is the windows PC crowd. There is a very distinct difference.
