There's really nothing here that's
Wii-specific at all, but we'll play along anyways.
Turtle Beach just launched its new Ear Force W3 wireless headphones, which include an audio splitter cable for routing audio to the AC-powered wireless transmitter. The headphones run on a single AAA battery, include a few Wii design cues and retail for around $60. That audio splitter is a nice little addition to make home theater integration less of a pain, but otherwise these Turtle Beach headphones are Wii ready only so far as they're trying to cash in on the Wii's success. And who can blame 'em?

ok... the wii is starting to sound like the ipod with all of its accessories with most of them being useful
like the "Wii" SD cards
or the "Wii" Glove
or the "Wii" Sports Add-Ons...
Whats next?
The "Wii" Coffee Mug?

To qualify as Wii headphones they'd need to play the sounds from the Wiimote as well as the console. Is that even possible? m@

What would make this 100x cooler is if the headphones were Bluetooth and could receive the audio directly from the Wii via A2DP. I look upon AC-powered wireless transmitters with great disdain!

HAHAHA, yeah, the Wii Coffee Mug will wirelessly integrate with the system to tell you what type of coffee your drinking, how much is left, where to buy that type of coffee, how hot or cold it is and it will have it's own Wii Channel so that you can look at that 3D globe to see what other players are drinking lol hahaha, it will also be motion sensitive so that they can make drinking games for it too. HAHAHA
