Frenzy & Rumble transforming headphones: lamer it sounds
You know, a Transformers movie was really its own reward, but all these transforming gadgets -- movie related and no -- are really making it all the more exciting, especially when we're talking completely superfluous fluff. Take these new Frenzy & Rumble Earphones, for example. There's no reason you'd want 'em on your head, and there's no way they push out an adequate volume for desktop use when in that transformed state. A perfect blend of uselessness and inconvenience. You can get yours in July for about $37.

You know those big red letters on the pictures say, do not post elsewhere?

I've said it once before: How about a head phone that just sounds good? I see all these neat little headphone gadgets coming through this site and others and I am willing to wager not a single one would be acceptable to my ear.

Is it just me, or did anyone else read "lamer than it sounds" to the tune of "robots in disguise" and "more than meets the eye"?

Nope, in fact i never read "Lamer than it sounds" at all.
I just read it as "lamer it sounds," which doesn't really work that well.

Mike:
Check out some reviews of ICEMAT's "Siberia In:Ear Headphones w/ Microphone" (http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=202737954&adid=17662).
I bought them because they were rebated to $10 or so, but even at $30, they're a good deal. Good sound quality, with nice bass for their size.
