Here is my opinion....I have a PS3 and it plays all of my PS2 games great, and thats really convenient. But I bought a PS3 for the PS3 stuff.....if it didn't play PS2 games, I would just plug my PS2 in. I agree that its unfair that other regions got it to start, but its not the end of the world.
