"As someone who doesn't reside in the USA, I was wondering what would be the best way to get internet for my computer in the US for a couple of weeks? If it were Europe I know I'd look for some prepaid data. Is there anything similar offered by American carriers? A MiFi or a data SIM that I can tether from would work, but I'm trying to maintain a tight budget. Help!"
Anyone had HDMI sound problems when running it through your TV? I have two HDMI cables inputting into my Sharp Aquos, and then an optical out from my tv to my receiver (since my receiver is a bit dated and has no HDMI inputs). The cable box hdmi sound makes it thorough my lcd and out to my reciever but the PS3 doesn't. I even switched wires between the two tv input jacks between the two hdmi inputs and ran into the same issue, the ps3 sound was still not passing through the tv out to my receiver, but the box hdmi was....i'm thus almost certain it's not a TV setting.
Anyways, and PS3 insights would be good....else i'm gonna have to break down for a new receiver (though doesn't seem like I should have to)
